Look is a self-hosted photo library app for iPhone and iPad. It connects to a Look server that you operate on your own private network. Look does not sell subscriptions, paid features, cloud storage, or digital content.

When requesting support, please include:

• The Look app version
• Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS or iPadOS version
• The type of server address you use, such as a Tailscale MagicDNS name or private IP address
• Whether the Look server opens in Safari on the same device
• The exact error message shown by Look

For your security, never include an API key, password, private photo, or other sensitive information in a support request. Blur private server names and personal content in screenshots.

Quick Connection Check

If Look cannot connect, open your Look server URL in Safari on the same iPhone or iPad.

• If Safari cannot open it, check the server process, private network or Tailscale connection, host firewall, and server address.
• If Safari can open it but Look cannot connect, check the server URL and API key in Look Settings.

• A running Look server
• An iPhone or iPad connected to the same Tailscale network or another trusted private network
• A reachable server URL, such as http://machine.tailnet-name.ts.net:5678 or http://100.x.y.z:5678
